Located in downtown Paynesville since 1943, our meat locker continues to provide the best in meat processing services throughout central Minnesota.

A Tradition of Fine Meat Making

Our locker has been in operation long before the name Schrupp’s Meats & Seafood was embossed on the door.

The locker was originally built in 1942 by Millard Nehring and opened in 1943. It was the first locker plant built in the state built for the purpose of meat processing. Family members, Wes and Lois Nehring, owned and operated the business from 1962-1993, eventually selling it to C&G Meats. Long time managers Dave and Pam Schrupp eventually purchased the business, renaming it in 2007.

Today we operate under the name Schrupp’s Meats & Seafood, LLC, doing just what our name implies — processing and selling some of the areas premiere meats and seafood.
